Abstract

La invención se refiere a un conjunto separador bidireccional para mandíbula inferior, que comprende al menos dos separadores (1, 2) provistos cada uno con placas de base (3, 5; 4, 6) que pueden pifarse sobre el hueso de la mandíbula inferior. Estos separadores están dispuestos, para poder desplazarse el uno respecto del otro, mediante un mecanismo de transmisión (7, 8) y cada uno de ellos mediante una patilla de avance (8, 10) Los separadores (1, 2) que son como mínimo dos, están acoplados mediante un árbol flexible (11) para que los ejes longitudinales de los separadores (1, 2) individuales puedan inclinarse hasta un ángulo comprendido en la gama 0 < {al} < 90º, transmitiendo dichos árboles flexibles el movimiento de rotación de la patilla de avance (9) del separador (1) colocado por delante de la patilla de avance (10) del otro separador (2). Una patilla de mano amovible, eventualmente flexible, puede conectarse al extremo delantero (12) de la patilla de avance (9) del separador (1) colocado por delante.
