SE PRODUCE ANHIDRIDO ACETICO MEDIANTE LA REACCION DE METIL ACETATO (O DIMETIL ETER Y ACIDO ACETICO), MONOXIDO DE CARBONO E HIDROGENO EN PRESENCIA DE UN HALURO DE ALQUILO Y UN CATALIZADOR HETEROGENEO BIFUNCIONAL QUE CONTIENE UN POLIMERO INSOLUBLE CON GRUPOS DE FOSFINA CUATERNIZADOS COLGANTES, ALGUNOS DE LOS CUALES ESTAN UNIDOS IONICAMENTE A COMPLEJOS ANIONICOS DE METALES DEL GRUPO 9 O 10 (NOMENCLATURA POSTERIOR A 1986, RECOMENDADA POR LA IUPAC), ESTANDO LOS RESTANTES GRUPOS DE FOSFINA UNIDOS A IODURO.
