LAS PIEZAS EXPUESTAS EN LA INVENCION SON ESPECIALMENTE VENTAJOSAS CUANDO SE USAN EN MOTORES DE DISEÑO MODERNO. SEGUN LA INVENCION, ESTAS PIEZAS RESISTENTES AL DESGASTE SE CARACTERIZAN POR UN REVESTIMIENTO DE 50 A 400 MI M DE ESPESOR, APLICADO POR PULVERIZACION TERMICA A LA SUPERFICIE DE LA PIEZA SOMETIDA A DESGASTE.
