Actuador lineal (1, 21) que incluye una sección externa (2, 22) con un eje longitudinal (6) y una estructura interna que está instalada en el interior de la sección externa y es movible con respecto a ésta en la dirección de dicho eje longitudinal, en el que la sección externa (2, 22) está provista de al menos dos bastidores (4, 5, 24, 25) que se extienden en la dirección de dicho eje longitudinal y la estructura interna incluye un número igual de piñones (7, 8, 27, 28) que se engranan en los bastidores, estando dichos pinones (7, 8, 27, 28) unidos mecánicamente y siendo accionable al menos un pinón (7, 27) por un motor (16, 30) instalado en dicha estructura interna con el n de conseguir el funcionamiento de dicho actuador.
