Abstract
Instalación para la producción de fundición líquida que comprende un horno (1) de reducción para reducir óxidos de hierro y un horno de fusión (3) que contiene una fase fundida de fundición y escoria para fundir los óxidos de hierro reducidos, así como las unidades de evacuación de la fundición hacia una instalación de afinado de la fundición (5) y de unidades de evacuación de la escoria hacia una instalación de tratamiento de la escoria (6), el horno de reducción (1) y el horno de fusión (3) están conectados `por uno o varios conductos para la alimentación del horno de fusión (3) por una mezcla de hierro metalizado proveniente del horno de reducción por transferencia por gravedad y uno o varios conductos de evacuación (4) de gases de combustión del horno de fusión (3) hacia el horno (1) de reducción, caracterizada porque el(los) conducto(s) de alimentación está(n) provisto(s) de válvulas reguladoras que permiten acumular una masa de mezcla metalizada suficientemente importante para penetrar con fuerza, tras su vertido desde una altura, la fundición líquida.
