Abstract

Procedure for extracting cork from cork trees in sheet form that includes making a cut in the bark of the tree: at least one vertical cut and, at least, another horizontal cut, to delimit the area of the sheet of cork to be separated. The cuts are made with a tool that has a minimal cut width but has to be fitted and positioned correctly so that each of the scissor blades fit in the end of a vertical cut through which pressure is then applied on the inside edges of the vertical cut making the separation of the set sheet between two consecutive vertical cuts.
