Abstract
rocedimiento para la producción de tiras de acero inoxidable austenítico, que comprende la operación de colada en un molde con rodillos contragiratorios de un aparato de colada en contínuo, de una tira que tiene un espesor comprendido entre 1 y 5 mm, y con la composición, en porcentaje en peso, siguiente: Cr 17-20; Ni 6-11; C<0,04; N<0,04; S<0,01; Mn<1,5; Si<1,0; Mo 0-3; Al<0,03; y en donde Ti, Nb, Ta se proporcionan en la tira de modo que: Ti + 0,5(Nb+Ta)>6C-3S con la salvedad de que Ti>6S; o Nb + Ta > 12C con la salvedad de que Ti<6S; siendo, en cada caso, Nb + Ti Ta < 1,0 %; siendo la parte restante Fe e impurezas, y teniendo una microestructura de solidificación dendrítica con un tamaño de grano medio, medido sobre una sección transversal paralela a la superficie de la tira, comprendido entre 30 y 80 , y con un porcentaje de volumen de delta-ferrita comprendido entre 4 y 10 %, calculado por la fórmula: delta-ferrita=(Creq/Nieq 0,728) x 500/3 en donde Creq/Nieq = [Cr + Mo + 1,5Si + 0,5Nb+ 0,25Ta + 2,5 (Al+Ti) + 18]/[Ni + 30 (C+N) + 0,5Mn + 36]; en donde los símbolos de elementos representan su porcentaje en peso en la composición en conjunto.
