Abstract

Una máquina para aplicar etiquetas (21) a objetos que comprende: (i) un alimentador (10) de etiquetas que comprende: dos cuerpos cilíndricos (35, 36) de husillos de alimentación, en uno de los cuales hay una ranura helicoidal (37) que se extiende axialmente hacia la izquierda, y en el otro de los cuales hay una ranura helicoidal (34) que se extiende axialmente hacia la derecha, estando los cuerpos apoyados adyacentes uno al otro para girar sobre sus ejes paralelos con sus ranuras enfrentadas una a la otra, cooperando entre sí las correspondientes primeras regiones terminales de las respectivas ranuras para formar una región (40,41) de alimentación de etiquetas, y las correspondientes segundas regiones terminales de las respectivas ranuras, desplazadas axialmente de las primeras regiones terminales, cooperando para formar una región de salida de etiquetas, la rotación de los cuerpos de los husillos de alimentación (35,36) sobre dichos ejes causando que una etiqueta (21) se deposite en la región de alimentación (40,41) y sea recogida por dichas ranuras cooperativas (34,51) para ser empujada al extremo de las ranuras a dicha región de salida, y un mecanismo (55,56) para acoplar operativamente los cuerpos cilíndricos (35,36) de los husillos de alimentación a una fuente de potencia (54) para efectuar la rotación de los cuerpos sobre sus ejes en las direcciones opuestas, pero uno frente a otro, (II) un transportador (27) para transportar los objetos, incluyendo recipientes (14), a los que será aplicada una etiqueta (21) en una trayectoria predeterminada pasada dicha región de salida, y (III) un dispositivo (22) para aplicar adhesivo a dichos recipientes (14) antes de que éstos lleguen sucesivamente a la región de salida para garantizar que el adhesivo se ponga en contacto y adhiera a una etiqueta (21) en dicha región de salida y se retire la etiqueta del alimentador (10).
