Abstract

La presente invención se refiere a un sistema de freno de mano para vehículos, especialmente vehículos de motor (8) para pasajeros, para apretar o liberar al menos un cable actuador (18, 19) de un dispositivo de frenado (7) del vehículo. El sistema de freno manual comprende una unidad de control (9) con una transmisión motorizada (10) para ajustar el cable actuador (18, 19). En la unidad de control (9) está integrado un dispositivo de liberación (24) por medio del cual la unión entre la unidad de control (9) y el cable actuador (18, 19) puede ser liberado y restablecido de forma automática.
