CONSISTE EN LA COMPRESION DEL AIRE EN AL MENOS UNA ETAPA, TRANSPORTE DE DICHO AIRE CON AGUA HACIA UNA CAMARA DE COMBUSTION PARA SU COMBUSTION JUNTO CON COMBUSTIBLE Y EL ESCAPE DE LOS GASES HACIA UNA TURBINA DE GAS SITUADA A CONTINUACION PARA GENERAR TRABAJO MECANICO Y CALOR, SI SE DESEA. SOLO UNA PARTE DEL FLUJO DEL AIRE COMPRIMIDO SE HUMIDIFICA AÑADIENDO AGUA, MIENTRAS QUE EL RESTO DEL FLUJO DE AIRE SE LLEVA A LA CAMARA DE COMBUSTION SIN QUE PASE POR EL HUMIDIFICADOR.
