Abstract

Método para proporcionar datos OSD para presentación OSD, donde el contenido de la imagen de diferentes caracteres o textos o gráficos o imágenes OSD a presentar (DISP) es almacenado en un formato codificado de macrobloque tipo MPEG, cada uno en una memoria de datos OSD (ROM), y está destinado a fines de presentación ensamblada y decodificada correspondientemente (MDEC), caracterizado porque: una imagen decodificada MPEG (MDEC), a presentar junto con los caracteres seleccionados (UI) de dichos diferentes caracteres, textos, gráficos o imágenes OSD insertados, es almacenada temporalmente en una memoria de imágenes(FRAB); múltiples macrobloques horizontalmente adyacentes a dichos macrobloques OSD codificados ensamblados, forman un segmento (F, H, I) que incluye un código de inicio de segmento y que es decodificado (MDEC) y almacenado de manera temporal en dicha memoria de imágenes (FRAB) en las direcciones correspondientes; el contenido combinado de la memoria de imagen es leído como una imagen completa a presentar.
