Abstract

"Horno continuo" Comprende una mufla (17) delimitada por dos bóvedas (2, 18) apoyadas en sus extremos en muros verticales (3, 4), a través de respectivos planos inclinados convergentes (5, 6) hacia el interior del horno, y soportadas mediante vigas (7, 8) horizontales externas, solidarias de los muros del horno, y dos sucesiones de cuerpos de arranque (9) en forma de cuña, provistos de un plano inclinado (10) y de una base horizontal (11) que se apoya sobre dicho muro. Comprende una pluralidad de pares de elementos resistentes verticales (13), que arrancan de la respectiva viga y que están unidos por sendas riostras (14) y tirantes tensores (26), y de unos pies derechos (15) de sustentación del sistema, vinculados a la viga y al elemento resistente vertical correspondientes a través de cartelas (16). Es especialmente aplicable al tratamiento térmico de materiales, en particular para vitrificación.
