Abstract
El equipo de actualización tecnológica incluye una unidad de turbina de gas auxiliar con un compresor auxiliar para comprimir el aire ambiente, un colector solar que recibe el aire comprimido para calentar el mismo y una turbina auxiliar acoplada al compresor auxiliar y a un generador auxiliar para expandir el aire comprimido calentado y controlar el compresor auxiliar y el generador auxiliar. Cuando se puede disponer de radiación solar incidente, un control de flujo suministra de forma selectiva los gases de escape calientes desde el equipo de actualización tecnológica hacia una caldera alimentada con combustible fósil convencional. La caldera posee elementos en espiral de intercambio de calor en los que se vaporiza agua que se suministra a una turbina de vapor para controlar un generador de vapor expandido, que se condensa y es devuelto expandido a la caldera. Cuando no se puede disponer de radiación solar incidente, el control de flujo suministra a la caldera gases calientes desde una unidad de turbina de gas primaria que incluye un compresor primario que comprime el aire ambiente, y un dispositivo de combustión que recibe el aire comprimido para quemar combustible fósil y calentar el aire comprimido.
