Abstract

Sistema autónomo para la gestión remota de dispositivos sujetos a un servicio de pago por uso. Sistema autónomo para la gestión remota de dispositivos de pago por uso, tales como impresoras, fax, escaners, servidores y routers, entre otros, constituido por unos dispositivos (1) electrónicos, de reducido tamaño, conectados a cada uno de los equipos (4) remotos a gestionar, susceptibles de leer el valor del contador, procesar y almacenar la información y enviarla, a través de una o varias redes de comunicación (2) existentes, hasta un centro (3) de recogida. Concretamente, dicho dispositivo (1) posee una interfaz de conexión a la red ETHERNET para envío y recepción de correo electrónico vía Internet, o para configurar el propio dispositivo a través de un servidor accediendo a su página web, y un módem GSM para envío de la información mediante llamadas o mensajes cortos vía radio. Además, las memorias Flash EEPROM y RAM dinámica permiten la ejecución del software requerido por el sistema y elalmacenamiento datos, respectivamente.
