Abstract

Procedimiento para la obtención de carbones activados mediante mezcla física de precursores carbonosos con hidróxido sódico, hidróxido potásico o sus mezclas. El procedimiento comprende mezclar un precursor carbonoso con un agente activante en forma sólida, seleccionado entre hidróxido sódico, hidróxido potásico y sus mezclas, y pirolizar el material resultante. Los carbones activados preparados son esencialmente microporosos y pueden emplearse en aplicaciones que implican adsorción en fase gas, y almacenamiento de energía, tanto de gases a alta presión como en condensadores de doble capa (EDLC).
