EL PROCEDIMIENTO COMPRENDE LOS SIGUIENTES PASOS: A) PONER EN CONTACTO UN GAS QUE CONTENGA OXIGENO CON UN CATODO DE DIFUSION DE GAS QUE NO CONTENGA UN CATALIZADOR DE DESCOMPOSICION DE PEROXIDO DE HIDROGENO, B) PROPORCIONAR UNA DIFERENCIA POTENCIAL ENTRE EL CATODO Y UN ANODO, DE FORMA QUE EL OXIGENO SE CONVIERTA EN PEROXIDO EN EL CATODO, EL PEROXIDO SE DIFUNDA A TRAVES DE UN ELECTROLITO ACUOSO HASTA EL ANODO, Y EL PEROXIDO SE CONVIERTA EN OXIGENO PURO EN EL ANODO, EL PROCEDIMIENTO EN UN NUEVO METODO CAPAZ DE SEPARAR EL OXIGENO A TRAVES DE UN PROCEDIMIENTO BIOELECTRONICO. EL EQUIPO COMPRENDE UNA PILA ELECTROLITICA UNICA (1) CON AL MENOS UN CATODO (8) Y UN ANODO (9), UNA ENTRADA (12) A TRAVES DEL CATODO PARA LA INTRODUCCION DE UNA MEZCLA DE GAS QUE CONTIENE OXIGENO Y UNA SALIDA (5) DE OXIGENO PURO PRODUCIDO EN LA PILA.
