Abstract

This system comprises a fuel tank, means for accumulating fuel under pressure, means (7) for connecting the means for accumulating fuel to means (8) for injecting fuel into the engine, and a control valve (10) inserted between the connecting means (7) and the tank and connected to means controlling it for generating by water hammer blow effect, a fuel pressure wave in the connecting means up to the injecting means, for injecting fuel into the engine. The invention is characterised in that it comprises an injecting body (20) adapted to be fixed on the engine and in which are arranged, at one end, the injecting means (8) and at another end, the control valve (10), and in that the connecting means (7) comprise a portion of the fuel accelerating conduit (7a), helically arranged around the injecting body.
