Abstract
The drying procedure for silt from filtration and flocculate-coagulant involves the silt being submitted to coagulation by means of the addition of coagulant deposits with poly-electrolyte. The silt is then filtered in filtration media and, possibly, heat-dried. During the phases of coagulation and/or flocculation, a compound is added formed by between 20 and 40 parts by weight of polychloride of aluminum or equivalent salt between 30 and 60 parts by weight of calcium sulfate between 12 and 30 parts by weight of calcium hydroxide between 5 and 15 parts by weight of portlandite and between 5 and 20 parts by weight of a hydrated silicate of aluminum, such as zeolite or sepiolite.
