Abstract

"Recubrimiento para la protección contra animales e insectos de un cable de cualquier tipo", caracterizado esencialmente porque sobre un cable tradicional (1) se aplica una capa, malla o cinta de un material conductor (2), la cual estará permanentemente conectada a una fuente de alimentación (3), batería, pilas, red u otra fuente de energía, proporcionando un voltaje en toda la extensión del cable, presentando exteriormente a la capa conductora (2), una capa aislante; en caso de rotura de la capa, el contacto con la malla conductora transmitirá una pequeña descarga sobre el animal o insecto que pretenda roer el cable.
