Abstract
Procedimiento para la desoxidación (polarización) de cobre en el estado líquido fundido, en el que un agente de reducción gaseoso se conduce dentro de la masa fundida, caracterizado porque como agente de reducción se emplea una mezcla de hidrógeno y nitrógeno en una relación en volumen de 60 a 40 hasta 72 a 28 y en el recinto del horno se mantiene una atmósfera desoxidante mediante un ajuste correspondiente del calentamiento del horno, es decir de los quemadores de calefacción, a un índice de relación de aire de 0, 5 a 0, 8.
