PARA ASEGURAR UNA RECEPCION RAPIDA Y BARATA, LA SEÑAL MULTIPLICADA POR EL CODIGO PSEUDOALEATORIO SE MODULA ADICIONALMENTE EN UN METODO DE ACUERDO CON LA INVENCION MEDIANTE UN GRUPO DE FORMAS DE ONDA (F{SUB, 1).. F{SUB, N}) CUYO NUMERO IGUALA AL NUMERO DE BITS EN EL CODIGO PSEUDOALEATORIO, LA FRECUENCIA DE CADA FORMA DE ONDA ESTA INCLUIDA EN EL DOMINANTE DE FRECUENCIAS DADO.
