Un aparato (10) para transportar, o para transportar y clasificar, objetos (F), como frutas, que comprende: - un transportador de suministro (11) para suministrar los objetos (F); y - un dispositivo de transferencia (12) para transferir los objetos desde el transportador de suministro (11), comprendiendo dicho dispositivo de transferencia miembros agarradores (17; 47; 56; 62; 72; 82) dispuestos por parejas para coger los objetos (F), caracterizado por: - un transportador de descarga (13), por ejemplo para la clasificación, tal como pesándolos, y para descargar los objetos (F) con un paso relativamente grande (P), que es en cualquier caso no menor que el paso relativamente pequeño (p) del transportador de suministro (11), estando dichos transportador de suministro (11), dispositivo de transferencia (12) y transportador de descarga (13) dispuestos de forma que los objetos (F) que han de transportarse sean transportados sustancialmenteal mismo nivel horizontal, y por que - la velocidad del movimiento hacia adelante del dispositivo de transferencia (12) está sincronizada con la velocidad del transportador de descarga (13) y del transportador de suministro (11), de modo que los objetos (F) son transferidos al transportador de descarga (13).
