LA INVENCION SE REFIERE A UN PROCEDIMIENTO PARA PRODUCIR EL CRECIMIENTO GRANULAR DE UN MICROORGANISMO EN UN REACTOR QUE CONTIENE UN MEDIO LIQUIDO. SORPRENDENTEMENTE, SEGUN LA INVENCION, SE PUEDE INDUCIR IGUALMENTE UN CRECIMIENTO GRANULAR EN LOS MICROORGANISMOS AEROBIOS, MANTENIENDO CONDICIONES ESPECIFICAS DE CULTIVO. DURANTE UNA PRIMERA FASE, SE SUMINISTRA UN GAS QUE CONTIENE OXIGENO Y LOS CONTENIDOS DEL REACTOR SE MANTIENEN EN REGIMEN TURBULENTO. EN UNA SEGUNDA FASE, TRAS UN CORTO PERIODO DE REPOSO, SE DESCARGA LA PARTE SUPERIOR DEL MEDIO DEL REACTOR.
