Abstract

Asiento acolchado, especialmente utilizable en vehículos que se caracteriza porque está constituido mediante tres elementos principales, que se relacionan entre sí y son un armazón rígido, un cojín preformado y continuo y un reborde elástico que forma parte del revestimiento del cojín estando dotado el armazón rígido en al menos uno de sus lados, con preferencia el frontal, de un perfil acanalado, con la concavidad hacia el interior, en tanto que el cojín que ha de rodear sustancialmente todos los lados del subarmazón está constituido por un revestimiento flexible y un substrato sólido de espuma flexible íntimamente unidos entre sí, incluyendo el revestimiento una prolongación apta para adaptarse al perfil acanalado del subarmazón, cuya prolongación se remata en el reborde elástico que permite el montaje del cojín bajo tensión, sobre el subarmazón.
