Abstract
Una barra obturadora (1) que comprende: (a) una estructura alargada (2) de material refractario, que tiene: (i) un taladro (3) situado coaxialmente respecto de la estructura (2) y adaptado para recibir fijamente una barra metálica (6) para su unión a un mecanismo de izado, teniendo el taladro axial (3) una parte ampliada (10) que presenta una superficie sellante anular separada del extremo superior (4) de la estructura (2); (ii) medio (5) para la unión de la barra metálica (6); (b) la barra metálica alargada (6) sujeta a la estructura (2) y adaptada a su extremo superior (8) para su unión a un mecanismo de izado y desplazar la barra obturadora verticalmente (1) dentro de un grupo de colada; y (c) un manguito (12) que tiene una superficie sellante en su extremo inferior que se enfrenta a la superficie sellante (10) de la estructura (2), teniendo la barra obturadora medios (14, 15) situados en la barra metálica (6) para bloquear el manguito (12), caracterizada porque el manguito (12) estáhecho de un material que tiene un coeficiente de dilatación térmica mayor que el de la barra metálica (6) y de longitud suficiente de forma que, bajo el efecto de la temperatura a la que se somete la barra obturadora durante la colada, el manguito (12) se dilata suficientemente para al menos compensar el efecto de la dilatación de la barra metálica (6).
