Abstract

La invención se refiere a un procedimiento y un sistema (10) para la navegación de vehículos a motor. Más concretamente, el citado sistema incluye una unidad central de navegación computerizada (11) equipada con una memoria (12) que contiene la topografía de una zona predeterminada y un dispositivo para la localización (13) del vehículo. La unidad central del ordenador (12) se asocia con un dispositivo de guiado vocal (15) y una pantalla de visualización (14) que opera en el modo denominado "guiado normal" donde se muestra al menos un pictograma de dirección en la pantalla para indicar las maniobras de relevancia que tienen que ser reproducidas ahora por el conductor. El sistema está caracterizado en el sentido que incluye: una unidad de control (16) adaptada para operar el dispositivo de guiado vocal (15) y/o la pantalla (14) en un modo temporal mejorado, donde un mensaje vocal y/o un pictograma de dirección reproduce la topografía almacenada del área donde se ha solicitado el guiado mejorado, el citado pictograma de guiado mejorado y/o el mensaje vocal es obtenido por una modificación temporal del filtrado aplicado a los datos topográficos almacenados. La invención está diseñada para ser implantada en un sistema de ayuda de navegación de abordo en vehículos a motor.
