LA EXPOSICION SE HACE BAJO CONDICIONES QUE SON EFICACES PARA SOPORTAR HIDROGENACION DEL ACETILENO CON SELECTIVIDAD REALZADA. EL MODERADOR, QUE PUEDE SER ARSINA O FOSFINA, ES USADO A UN NIVEL DE CONCENTRACION BAJA Y SIRVE PARA PREVENIR EL EMBALAMIENTO DE LA TEMPERATURA DURANTE LA REACCION EXOTERMICA DE HIDROGENACION DEL ACETILENO. CONTROLANDO LA PRESENCIA DE NIVELES DE MODERADOR A UN NIVEL RELATIVAMENTE BAJO, SE IMPIDE EL EMBALAMIENTO DE LA TEMPERATURA DURANTE LA REACCION ALTAMENTE EXOTERMICA DE HIDROGENACION DEL ACETILENO, MIENTRAS SE MANTIENEN NIVELES ACEPTABLES DE ACTIVIDAD DEL CATALIZADOR PARA FINES DE HIDROGENACION DEL ACETILENO.
