Abstract
Un reactor para el tratamiento asistido con plasma de los gases de escape procedentes de un motor de combustión interna para reducir la emisión de contaminantes del mismo, que comprende una cámara de reactor (2) adaptada para formar parte de un sistema de escape de motor de combustión interna, incluyendo la cámara del reactor (2) al menos dos electrodos permeables al gas (6, 14) entre los cuales se dispone un lecho permeable al gas de material activo (12) y medios (6, 7, 13, 14) para limitar que los gases de escape pasen a través del lecho de material activo a través de los electrodos permeables al gas (12), donde el lecho de material activo (12) incluye circonia en una forma que no absorbe vapor de agua.
