Abstract

Un método para formar y clasificar parcialmente un precipitado que contenga partículas grandes, partículas gruesas y partículas finas, a partir de una suspensión acuosa densa madre de precipitación sobresaturada, que comprende separar la suspensión acuosa densa madre de precipitación en una pluralidad de corrientes separadas, introducir simultáneamente y por separado cada corriente como una alimentación de suspensión acuosa densa en un vaso en el que hay una zona inferior agitada y una zona superior de reposo para formar dicho precipitado, retirar continuamente suspensión acuosa densa producto como un flujo de desagüe por debajo desde la zona inferior agitada de cada vaso, y retirar continuamente licor gastado como un flujo de rebose por encima desde dicha zona superior de reposo, en que dicha alimentación de suspensión acuosa densa, dicho flujo de desagüe por debajo y dicho flujo de rebose por encima son mantenidos de tal modo que dichas partículas grandes y las gruesas se acumulan como una suspensión acuosa densa en la zona inferior agitada de cada vaso, y solamente salen dichas partículas finas de dicho vaso con dicho flujo de rebose por encima después de migrar a través de dicha zona de reposo.
