Abstract

The invention relates to a main piston servo control system which is fitted with a fault control system. The inventive system comprises two servo-valves (1, 2) and a piston (4) which is mechanically connected to a position transducer (5). The aforementioned servo-valves (1, 2) receive the same pressure from the supply line (12) and discharge into the same return line (13). Moreover, the servo-valves are connected to the piston (4) via a system of channels (3) that can be used to position said piston according to the power request transmitted by feedback position control loops (6, 7) to the torque motors (8, 9) of the servo-valves. In this way, if the movement of the piston (4) does not correspond to the request made at the servo-valves (1, 2), the system logic detects the existence of a fault and changes to a back-up system.
