Abstract
Un reactor modular con descargas por efecto corona para el tratamiento de medios gaseosos, del tipo que comprende un conducto de entrada (2) y un conducto de salida (3), caracterizado porque comprende los siguientes elementos en combinación: una pluralidad de cámaras (4) del reactor con descargas por efecto corona verticalmente dispuestas y situadas entre los conductos de entrada y salida (2; 3) y en comunicación con los mismos, teniendo cada reactor con descargas por efecto corona una estructura de electrodo exterior cilíndrico (303) y una estructura de electrodo interior axial (302), una fuente de alimentación eléctrica pulsada de alto voltaje (8) situada en alineación vertical con el electrodo interior (302) de la cámara del reactor y conectada directamente al mismo, estando adaptada cada fuente de alimentación eléctrica pulsada de alto (8) para producir impulsos de voltaje de una magnitud suficiente para excitar una descarga por efecto corona en un medio gaseoso que ha de ser tratado amedida que este pasa a través de la cámara asociada del reactor, medios (7) para compensar el flujo, a través de las cámaras del reactor, del medio gaseoso a tratar, una fuente de alimentación eléctrica de bajo voltaje conectada a cada fuente de alimentación eléctrica pulsada de alto voltaje (8) y una unidad de control (13) adaptada para controlar la acción de la fuente de alimentación eléctrica de bajo voltaje para causar que las fuentes de alimentación eléctrica pulsada de alto voltaje (8) apliquen impulsos de alto voltaje a las cámaras del reactor con descargas por efecto corona con una relación temporal predeterminada.
