Abstract

Estera protectora de plantas, sobre todo en la forma de un disco perforado (1), que - en su posición de uso - está prevista por encima del cepellón de una planta como la cobertura de suelo de la misma; estera ésta que está caracterizada porque el disco perforado (1) está conformado a partir de un vellón de coco, que posee unas fibras de coco, que están unidas entre sí mediante látex; a este efecto, las fibras de coco del disco perforado (1) están, por un lado, fijadas por medio de unos bordes de refuerzo (5, 6), que constituyen los contornos del mismo, y, por el otro lado, las fibras forman - dentro de la parte de unas zonas de cobertura superior e inferior (7, 8) - unas estructuras de poros (P, P¿), con unas correspondientes anchuras de abertura distintas.
