Abstract

Método para identificar un grupo de usuarios de un sistema EPG (sistema EPG = sistema que constituye una guía electrónica de programas) que compartan características similares a las de un primer usuario; siendo el sistema EPG para proporcionar a un dispositivo de entretenimiento doméstico (74) un canal personal que comprende un plan de programas y correspondientes horas de inicio, siendo los programas seleccionados de entre programas que son suministrados por los de una pluralidad de canales reales y/u otras fuentes de programas, incluyendo el sistema medios (40) para que un usuario elija un programa para su planificación; comprendiendo el método los pasos de: I) añadir el primer usuario al grupo; II) recibir del primer usuario información de los programas elegidos; III) recibir de otro usuario información de los programas elegidos; IV) comparar la información de los programas elegidos del primer usuario con la del otro usuario para determinar una coincidencia parcial; V) si la coincidenciaparcial sobrepasa un valor predeterminado, añadir el otro usuario al grupo; y VI) repetir los pasos (III) a (V) para formar el grupo de usuarios.
