Abstract

Procedimiento para obtener piedras artificiales y morteros porosos con fines constructivos, decorativos y restauradores consistente en mezclar, en proporciones variadas (según la piedra a simular), áridos, aglomerantes, pigmentos y elemento generador de porosidad. El aspecto más relevante del producto es su sistema poroso conectado, similar al de piedras naturales porosas (travertino, areniscas, tobas volcánicas,...) usadas en construcción y ornamentación. Tras el fraguado, curado, endurecimiento, y secado de la mezcla, el manufacturado adquiere porosidad conectada mediante la descomposición del elemento generador de porosidad, gracias a la adición de disolventes orgánicos (tolueno, xileno, acetona, disolvente universal -thinner-,...), o a la aplicación de sopleteado en la superficie. El producto se elabora como prefabricados de todo tipo (bloques, losas, enchapados, tableros, dovelas, columnas, balaustres, solería, etc) listos para su puesta en obra, o como morteros (kit adaptable) aplicables "en masa" y moldeables in situ con o sin encofrados (enlucidos, repellos, suelos, cornisas, etc).Procedure to obtain artificial stones and porous mortars for constructive, decorative and restorative purposes consisting of mixing, in varying proportions (according to the stone to be simulated), aggregates, binders, pigments and porosity generating element. The most relevant aspect of the product is its connected porous system, similar to that of porous natural stones (travertine, sandstones, volcanic tuffs, ...) used in construction and ornamentation. After the setting, curing, hardening, and drying of the mixture, the manufactured one acquires connected porosity by decomposing the porosity generating element, thanks to the addition of organic solvents (toluene, xylene, acetone, universal solvent -thinner -, .. .), or to the application of blown on the surface. The product is manufactured as prefabricated of all kinds (blocks, slabs, veneers, boards, segments, columns, balusters, flooring, etc.) ready for installation, or as mortars (adaptable kit) applicable "mass" and moldable in situ with or without formwork (plastering, repels, floors, cornices, etc).
