Abstract

Procedimiento para la fabricación de lingotes o artículos de fundición huecos caracterizado porque un molde exterior se llena hasta un nivel previo con metal líquido y luego se hace descender al interior del molde desde la parte superior un núcleo preparado para la contracción radial a fin de admitir la reducción de metal durante el enfriamiento y la solidificación para desplazar el nivel del metal líquido contenido en el molde hasta la altura deseada; el núcleo se deja permanecer inmóvil en el molde durante un periodo predeterminado.
