Abstract

Estufa de rayos infrarrojos perfeccionada, que siendo del tipo en las que la combustión de los gases se realiza en un quemador principal de rayos infrarrojos, existiendo en combinación un medio catalizador para eliminar de los gases de combustión los inquemados y los tóxicos, esencialmente se caracteriza porque los gases producidos en la combustión, que se realiza en el quemador principal, ubicado en el exterior de la estufa de forma que la combustión sea al aire libre y la radiación de infrarrojos directa, se hacen pasar, antes de su salida definitiva al ambiente, a través de un soporte de catalizador, dispuesto en el interior de la estufa, en una cámara superior respecto al quemador principal, a cuya cámara acceden por propia convección los gases de combustión, los cuales penetran en dicha cámara a través de una o varias ranuras o ventanas practicadas en el tabique inferior de la cámara, de manera que los gases de la combustión se dirigen por si mismos, del exterior de la estufa al interior de la cámara de ubicación del soporte de catalizador, habiéndose previsto que llegue a la citada cámara un volumen de aire ambiental oportunamente encauzado, que sea el aire primario para la post-combustión en el soporte de catalizador de los gases quemados en el quemador principal de infrarrojos.
