Abstract

Procedimiento para la oxidación de cicloalcanos de 9 a 16 átomos de C para obtener alcoholes cíclicos con la ayuda de gases que contienen oxígeno, en presencia de ácido bórico, caracterizado porque se colocan el cicloalcano y 0, 2 a 5 % en peso de ácido bórico con respecto al cicloalcano, durante la reacción se añade tanto ácido bórico como para que al final de la reacción la relación molar del alcohol cíclico formado con respecto al ácido bórico se encuentre entre alrededor de 1:0, 6 y 1:1, 7, y además se efectúa la reacción en presencia de 0, 05 a 5 % en peso de cobalto (II), con respecto al cicloalcano dispuesto originalmente.
