Abstract

Método para la separación de biomasa y agua de una mezcla de biomasa y agua obtenida en el tratamiento biológico de aguas residuales por medio, como mínimo, de una membrana de filtro, una corriente de la mezcla de biomasa y agua, y un flujo ascendente de burbujas de aire a partir de aire introducido en la mezcla de biomasa y agua que circula contra una superficie de una membrana, y siendo retirada el agua separada como efluente de permeación en la superficie opuesta de la membrana, caracterizado porque la corriente de la mezcla de biomasa/agua es horizontal y la membrana de filtro adopta forma de un haz de membranas móvil, alineado con la corriente horizontal, siendo producidos los esfuerzos de cizalladura en la superficie de la membrana necesarios para su funcionamiento, por el flujo o corriente horizontal que se aproxima.
