Abstract

Nuevo procedimiento para la degradación bacteriana de cianuro y/o sus complejos metálicos a pH alcalino, nueva cepa bacteriana empleada en dicho procedimiento y aplicaciones del mismo. Dicho procedimiento comprende esencialmente el tratamiento bacteriano de vertidos industriales conteniendo cianuro y/o sus complejos metálicos con una cepa bacteriana, a saber, la cepa CECT 5344 de Pseudomonas pseudoalcaligenes o sus mutantes o un extracto activo de la misma en medio alcalino y en condiciones aerobias. Aplicación de gran interés medioambiental para el tratamiento de vertidos industriales altamente tóxicos y contaminantes.
