Abstract

Un sistema de dirección (3) de un vehículo para los conjuntos de las ruedas (13, 15), que comprende: (a) un cilindro hidráulico 5 de doble cabezal montado en el bastidor (7); (b) una barra de pistón montada para el movimiento deslizante en el cilindro (5) mediante rodamientos extremos (23); (c) un par de tirantes de tracción (11), estando cada tirante de tracción acoplados en forma basculante (25) en un extremo interno de la barra (9) del pistón y en un extremo exterior a uno de los conjuntos (12, 15) de las ruedas, a fin de proporcionar un movimiento de giro diferencial (dirección) conforme la barra del pistón (9) se desplaza en el cilindro (5), caracterizado porque la barra del pistón (9) incluye secciones extremas largas huecas en la forma de conductos cilíndricos (21), que se extienden hacia dentro desde los extremos de la barra del pistón (9), estando situado el acoplamiento (25) entre los extremos internos de los tirantes de tracción (11) y la barra del pistón (9) en los extremos internos de los conductos cilíndricos (21), para permitir que la longitud de los tirantes de tracción (11) sea similar a la longitud de los tirantes de tracción en los sistemas de dirección existentes, para minimizar los cambios en la convergencia positiva y negativa de las ruedas frontales durante los cambios en la altura de la suspensión.
