Abstract

Uso de composiciones que comprenden, en cantidades suficientes para asegurar el rendimiento requerido, resinas de poliésteres con pesos moleculares medios numéricos mayores que 10.000 formadas por unidades recurrentes X = [O-(CH2)n-OCO-(CH2)m-CO] y/o Y = [O-(CH2)k-CO] en las que la semisuma de n+m es igual o mayor a 6, y k es un número igual o mayor a 6, o por copolímeros que comprenden unidades y/o secuencias que tienen la fórmula xi[O-(CH2)ni-OCO-(CH2)miCO]; yj[O-(CH2)kjCO] en las que: i, j = 1-5; ni = 2-22; mi = 0-20; kj = 1-21; y xi e yj varían entre 0 y 1 y son fracciones molares de las diversas unidades, de forma que > 6 o por unidades recurrentes Z = [O-(CH2)a-OCO-(CH2)b-CO] en donde a = 2-3 y b = 7-11, presentes en una cantidad suficiente para asegurar buenas propiedades de barrera y biodegradabilidad de las resinas en la elaboración de artículos que tengan una permeabilidad respecto al vapor de agua menor que 350 g x 30 micram/m2 por día a 38°C y 90 % de RH, mostrando dichos artículos una descomposición en condiciones de compostaje en una película de 30 micram de menos de 10 % en 14 días y más de 90 % en seis meses.
