Abstract
En un motor de combustión interna o para utilización en el mismo, un mecanismo de control de válvula que comprende: (1) un eje de levas (4) portador de una serie de levas (5), estando montado el eje de levas (4), o estando adaptado para su montaje, en una culata de cilindros o soporte de levas (44); (2) un seguidor de leva para cada leva (5), comprendiendo cada uno de los seguidores de levas un cuerpo (6) que se desplaza alternativamente dentro de una guía y en un extremo actúa sobre el extremo del vástago de válvula (1); y (3) medios (7, 8, 9, 14) para el avance y retraso relativos de la rotación del eje de levas (4), caracterizado porque: los seguidores de levas (6) están dispuestos de manera tal que la zona de acción entre cada seguidor de leva (6) y el extremo de su respectivo vástago de válvula (1) está situado en alejamiento del punto medio (medido en una dirección paralela al eje geométrico del eje de levas) de una sección por el seguidor de levas (6) en un plano que contiene el ejegeométrico del eje de levas (4) y el eje geométrico del vástago de válvulas (1).
