Abstract

Una transmisión mecánica de velocidad variable que comprende un tren de engranajes planetarios (4) interpuesto entre un árbol de entrada (3) y un árbol de salida (2) montados para girar alrededor de un primer eje longitudinal determinado (5) a una primera y segunda velocidades angulares respectivamente, comprendiendo el tren de engranajes planetarios (4) un engranaje central (8) conectado de manera angularmente fija a dicho árbol de entrada (3), un soporte de planetarios (13) conectado de manera angularmente fija a dicho árbol de salida (2), varios engranajes planetarios (17), teniendo cada uno un segundo eje longitudinal respectivo (19) sustancialmente paralelo a dicho primer eje (5), y una corona dentada exterior (24) sustancialmente coaxial con el primer eje (5), estando dichos engranajes planetarios (17) conectados por fricción a dicho engranaje central (8) y a dicha corona dentada (24) para girar alrededor de dichos segundos ejes respectivos (19) y alrededor de dicho primer eje (5) para que dicho soporte de planetarios (13) gire alrededor del primer eje (5), y comprendiendo dicha corona dentada (24) un primer anillo (25) angular y radialmente fijo, y un segundo anillo (26) desplazable hacia y desde dicho primer anillo (25) para controlar la posición radial de dichos segundos ejes (19) respecto de dicho primer eje (5) y variar de esta manera la relación de velocidades de dicho árbol de entrada (3) y dicho árbol de salida (2).
