Abstract

The alarm consists of two switches or sensors attached to different positions on the blinds and in contact with the alarm display appts (8). One sensor or switch (9) is located between two adjacent roller blind slats. There is normally a gap between the slats. If they are pressed together the circuit is closed at that point. The other sensor or switch (7) is located at the lowers roller blind slat and is connected in series with the other sensor. It is in connection (12) with an alarm appts (8). The sensor/switch is activated when it looses contact with the floor (1). The alarm is thus activated with the roller blind is raised up from below as both sensors are activated in that condition. The alarm is acoustic, optical and/or provides a radio signal.
