Abstract

Un procedimiento para formar una combinación compatibilizada de - un elastómero termoplástico seleccionado entre un elastómero de poliéster termoplástico, un elastómero de poliamida termoplástica, un polímero de uretano termoplástico, o combinaciones de los mismos, donde dicho polímero de uretano termoplástico deriva de un poliéster o poliéter intermedio donde dicho poliéster intermedio deriva de uno o más glicoles que tienen de 2 a 12 átomos de carbono con uno o más ácidos dicarboxílicos que tienen de 4 a 20 átomos de carbono o anhídridos y dicho poliéter intermedio deriva de un poliol que tiene de 2 a 15 átomos de carbono y un éter que comprende un óxido de alquileno que tiene de 2 a 6 átomos de carbono, y - una poliolefina que comprende las etapas de; calentar el elastómero termoplástico y la poliolefina en presencia de un agente compatibilizador de poliuretano termoplástico a una temperatura superior al punto de fusión de dicho elastómero termoplástico y dicha poliolefina; y mezclar para formar una combinación; comprendiendo dicho agente compatibilizador el producto de reacción de - un intermedio hidrocarbonado seleccionado entre los polímeros que tienen grupos terminales hidroxilo, amina, o ácido carboxílico y los polímeros derivados de uno o más dienos que tienen un total de 4 a 8 átomos de carbono donde la cadena principal polimérica de dicho intermedio hidrocarbonado contiene más de 20 átomos de carbono consecutivos, y donde el peso molecular medio numérico del intermedio hidrocarbonado es de 300 a 10.000, - un diisocianato que contiene de 2 a 30 átomos de carbono, y - un prolongador de cadena seleccionado entre diaminas, alcanolaminas y dioles que contienen de 2 a 15 átomos de carbono, donde el agente compatibilizador contiene al menos el 25 por ciento en peso de segmentos blandos.
