Abstract

Un método para producir un huevo de ave que tiene un mayor nivel de ácido linoleico conjugado (CLA) con respecto a un huevo no tratado y que por lo demás, tiene un aspecto normal, comprendiendo el citado método las siguientes etapas: administrar CLA a una gallina ponedora en una cantidad eficaz para aumentar el porcentaje de CLA en los huevos puestos por la gallina ponedora, como un porcentaje de ácidos grasos totales; administrar a la gallina ponedora una cantidad de al menos un ácido graso no conjugado, insaturado, eficaz para producir un huevo que tenga una yema que permanezca líquida cuando se enfría a una temperatura superior a 0°C (32°F) e inferior a la temperatura ambiente de 21°C (70°F); y permitir que la gallina ponedora ponga un huevo que tiene un mayor nivel de ácido linoleico conjugado con relación a un huevo no tratado y una yema que permanezca líquida cuando se enfría a una temperatura superior a 0°C (32°F) e inferior a la temperatura ambiente de 21°C (70°F).
