Chryseobacterium balustinum estimulante del crecimiento vegetal y protector frente a organismos fitopatógenos.
Cepa bacteriana Chryseobacterium balustinum Lup 4
(CECT 5399), microorganismo del grupo de las bacterias Gram -, género Chryseobacterium, estimulante del crecimiento vegetal y protectora frente a organismos fitopatógenos. Esta cepa ha sido aislada de la rizosfera de una población natural de Lupinus albus (L.), en agar nutritivo (Difco), y ha sido caracterizada desde el punto de vista morfológico, metabólico y genético. Puede ser utilizada con objeto de incrementar el crecimiento y vigor de plantas cultivables, tanto hortícolas como forestales, así como con fines fitosanitarios frente a agentes biológicos patógenos.
