CADA CAJA DE MEZCLAS DISPONE DE TUBERIAS DE ABASTECIMIENTO (3, 4) QUE LA ATRAVIESAN Y POR LAS QUE CIRCULA AIRE A DIFERENTES TEMPERATURAS. CADA TUBERIA DE ABASTECIMIENTO POSEE UNA COMPUERTA (5), Y LAS COMPUERTAS DE CADA CAJA DE MEZCLAS (1) SON AJUSTABLES POR MEDIO DE UNA VARILLA MOTORIZADA (6), DE TAL MANERA QUE CUANDO UNA COMPUERTA SE CIERRA, LA OTRA SE ABRE, Y VICEVERSA. ENTRE LAS DOS TUBERIAS DE ABASTECIMIENTO (3, 4) SE FORMA UNA CAMARA DE MEZCLAS (11) PARA EL AIRE PROCEDENTE DE ELLAS.
