Abstract

Un procedimiento para la eliminación de partículas de pintura de una cabina de pulverización de pintura que comprende una cámara, medios para hacer pasar una corriente de lavado que captura las partículas de pintura pulverizada a través de una cortina de líquido y desciende a través de dicha cámara, con un colector situado en la parte inferior de dicha cámara y que contiene una emulsión de disolvente en circulación que recibe las citadas partículas de pintura pulverizadas desde la citada corriente de lavado, estando constituida la citada emulsión de disolvente en agua por: a) 1-50 por ciento en peso de un líquido orgánico volátil con un punto de ebullición de, por lo menos, 150°C, a una presión de vapor inferior a 0, 6 Torr a 20°C; y b) agua, en la que la emulsión de disolvente en agua circula a través de la cabina de pintar hasta que se deposita la emulsión de disolvente en agua, se solubiliza y se pone en suspensión por lo menos una parte de las partículas de pintura citadas, formando unaemulsión de disolvente en agua gastada.
