Abstract

Esta invención se refiere a un procedimiento y aparato para la piriólisis de polímeros orgánicos de desecho, gracias al cual se convierten en hidrocarburos (figura 1). Se funde el material en un recipiente agitado a 250-350°C. El producto fundido se introduce en un reactor (fig. 2) y sobre éste se vierte plomo a 500-600°C. Para aumentar la superficie de intercambio térmico y arrastrar el carbón que pueda formarse se pasa el metal por unas bandejas 23 y se lleva a una caldera 18 para calentarlo, reciclándolo al reactor. El bombeo del metal se realiza con bomba mecánica o, preferentemente, generando una fuerza mediante un campo magnético variable. El vapor producido en la pirólisis se condensa para obtener hidrocarburos. El carbón y las impurezas no pirolizables flotan sobre el plomo y se retiran periódicamente.
